Customers

The way the firm operates means everybody involved has a vested interest in seeing that customers are totally satisfied with the service. The other winning characteristic of Clwyd Transport Services is its ability to work between customers and hauliers to their mutual benefit. Being able to make the right 'fit' so that each customer gets the service, vehicle and even driver to suit his or her needs. This formula has gained the Company an enviable reputation and a customer base of blue chip companies which include: Lafarge Aggregates Ltd, Land & Water, Midland Quarry Products, Shanks Waste Solutions, Tarmac and VHE.

We would be delighted to work with everybody in the industry, and that's what we aim to do.

Lafarge

"We have been involved with Clwyd Transport Services for the last 20 years. They have become one of our main external contractors moving large tonnages all over the UK. We are very pleased with their professional operations."

Shanks Waste Solutions

"Shanks, one of the biggest names in waste management have dealt with Clwyd for over 20 years. We use Clwyd as they offer flexibility and are able to deal with one off turnkey projects, often with large tonnages and  tight deadlines. This is the clearance of material arising from contaminated sites, throughout the UK. Clwyd has recently completed a large tonnage moving 30 to 40 rigid 8 wheeler loads on a daily basis over a considerable distance over a number of months. Clwyd are one of our main approved haulage contractors, their vehicles are well equipped with weigh loaders to ensure the maximum legal payload, self sheeting systems to ensure integrity of the load, and good communications. Over many years , they have provided Shanks with a reliable and efficient service."

Land & Water

"We have used Clwyd Transport for more than 15 years, over schemes across the entire UK, ranging from smaller projects of just one or two vehicles up to mass haulage contracts where we have had as many as 45 lorries on the road at any one time. The service both in and outside normal hours has been exemplary. We have asked Clwyd to carry extremely complex materials for us, (Hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, sludges and treated spoils), they have repeatedly met our environmental constraints and have acted with safety and with courtesy.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this organisation and have no hesitation in using them in future."
